Reservations & Payment
Full payment to be made at time of booking, online via our website booking tool or OTA where applicable. Confirmation will be sent via email once booking is paid and complete.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is between 4pm and 7pm. Should you expect to arrive outside of this window please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate additional fees may apply. Should there be any unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances on the day that will affect your arrival time, please call, email or WhatsApp us to advise us as soon as possible.
Departing guests are kindly asked to vacate their rooms by 10:30am. Later check out may be possible by prior arrangement for an additional fee. We are unable to store any guest luggage nor vehicles on the property after checkout time.
Children
We do not accept guests under the age of 18.
Damage
Please report any damage or breakages to us as soon as possible. We don’t usually charge for minor breakages, however, any substantial damage or staining to bed linen, soft furnishings, carpets or furniture may be liable to a cleaning/repair charge, in which case we may invoice you for payment.
Cancellation
To protect against late cancellation and no-shows, we are obliged to put the following policy into place.
If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
In any circumstances, in the event of a no-show on date of arrival, the full cost of the booking is charged.
Should you wish to reduce the booking, this will be charged in line with our cancellation policy if prior to arrival, or, charged at full cost if on or after the booked date of arrival.
The proprietor is entitled to charge the customer’s credit or debit card. By making a booking, you accept our terms & conditions and cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a booking then please contact us as soon as possible. We strongly advise taking out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any balance payment made. Where possible, please provide a mobile contact number in case of emergency.
Behaviour
For the comfort of others, boisterous and rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated and if necessary, disruptive guests will be asked to leave. We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any guest whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others. Should this happen, the full cost of the stay will still be charged.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional fee as per our booking system. However dogs are not allowed on the bed/furniture, must not be left unattended and must be kept on a lead at all times when outside the room, including on the decking. We ask that you toilet your dog off the premises. Please ensure that you clear up after your dog in public areas.
Accessibility
Entrance to Tullochard House is via a gravel driveway/path and steps to the entrance door. There is no lift at the property. Ground floor accommodation is available, although this does still require guests to use steps to enter (no more than 3).
Bookings
Our booking policy is a minimum two-night stay, unless our booking system shows otherwise. Should you book according the two-night minimum stay, no refunds will be given for part-cancellation of any nights that would result in the total of your stay to less than two consecutive nights. We may on occasion be able to offer single night stays at our discretion, please contact us prior to booking should you wish to discuss this.
Smoking
In accordance with Scottish law smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the premises. Guests found to be infringing this policy will be asked to leave. Should a room need cleaning due to smoking, a further charge equivalent to one nights accommodation tariff will be applicable. Smoking is permitted in designated outside areas only, please use the ashtrays provided and ensure your cigarette is extinguished.
Parking
Guest parking is available, and guest vehicles are parked entirely at their own risk. Guest vehicles may not be left on the premises after checkout time.
